The American Silver Eagle is produced yearly and was first released by the U.S. Mint in 1986 under the Liberty Coin Act signed into law by President Reagan. As the official silver bullion coin of the United States, the highly regarded and heavily traded "Silver Eagle" is packaged in a soft plastic sleeve(s), U.S. Mint tube(s) of 20, or U.S. Mint Crates of 500 - depending on quantity packaged for delivery.
